Llangynwyd Middle Community Council Services

Allotments

There are two allotments in the community, both presently in use:

Behind Station Road
In the grounds of Parc Tir Iarll

Grass Cutting Scheme for Seniors

Senior citizens in the area may have either their front or back lawn cut twice a year should they have nobody to do it for them.

Grass Cutting – Llangynwyd Cemetery

The Council arranges for our contractor Gareth White to cut a large section of the cemetery in the ‘old’ village.

Maintenance of Public Rights of Way

Mr Gareth White is also our contractor for the maintenance of Rights of Way in the area.  Should you experience any problems, please contact the Clerk or any of the Councillors.

Provision of Dog Waste Bags

The council provides residents with a free supply of bags which are available from Llangynwyd Village Hall, Llan Mini Market and the park warden at Parc Tir Iarll.  Recently, two TiksPac dispensers have been installed, one by the village hall, the other near Cwmfelin school.

It is important to help keep our streets free of dog faeces, therefore, by supplying the free bags, we hope more dog owners will act responsibly and clean-up after their dogs.

PLEASE DISPOSE OF THE BAGS IN ANY LITTER BIN, EXCEPT THOSE BINS IN PLAY PARKS.

100th Birthdays and Golden Wedding Anniversaries

Will And Dorothy Davies Golden Wedding

Please inform the Clerk or any Councillor of the name, address and telephone number, and of course the date and nature of the celebration; an appropriate gift will be delivered on behalf of Council.
