Grass Cutting Scheme For Seniors

Any Senior living in Cwmfelin, Llangynwyd or Pontrhydycyff may have either lawn cut at the front OR the back of their house two times between May and September (weather permitting)- IF THEY HAVE NO OTHER RELATIVE ABLE TO HELP.

Let the Clerk or any of the Councillors know.

Public Rights Of Way Maintenance

Mr Gareth White is also our contractor maintaining Public Rights of Way on behalf of this council. Footpath 20 and 24 are regularly maintained. If you experience problems using these footpaths please contact The Clerk or any of the Councillors.

Dog Fouling Bags

The council will supply Cwmfelin, Llangynwyd and Pontrhydycyff with a free supply of bags. Bags will be available at Llangynwyd Post Office, Cwmfelin Community Hall (when open) and with Nicola, our Park Warden.

We commend all those reponsible dog owners but there is still evidence that not all owners clean.

It is important to help keep our streets free of dog fouling, therefore by supplying the free bags we hope to educate more dog owners in their responsibility to “clean up”. PLEASE DISPOSE OF THE BAG IN ANY LITTER BIN, EXCEPT THOSE BINS IN PLAY PARKS.

Summer Play Scheme At Llan Pavilion

Llangynwyd Middle CC pay Bridgend County Borough Council for providing a play scheme during the summer holidays. The scheme has been very well attended for many years.

This scheme is open access – please read the registration documents carefully in order that you are aware of the arrangements.
